It had been years since the last family portraits, so Tiffany decided that this Christmas would be the time to plan a session. The challenge was coordinating schedules to get the family altogether. Mark works in Alaska and one daughter and her son live several states away. We finally arranged the shoot for New Year’s Eve morning.
Since that was the soonest time after Christmas when everyone was together, they hadn’t opened presents yet. We set up for the photos in front of their fireplace (yes, the stockings were hung with care and full of goodies) and the tree surrounded with presents stood in the background. In addition to the people, we wanted to get some shots with and of the dogs. They had the cutest lab/mastiff mix puppies that a did a nice job posing.
