Faces of the Multicultural Festival

For the second post about the Concord Multicultural Festival, I decided to highlight the variety of faces. Even though clouds hid the sun and the cool rain latter in the afternoon, the area in front of the capital was filled with bright smiles and vibrantly-colored clothes. I enjoy people watching and events like this provide the perfect opportunity. From soft-eyed infants to experienced elders, new families to new adults, lifelong residents to recent arrivals, downtown was alive with a wonderful variety of people. The perfect place for a photographer. Everyone shared laughs, conversation, cheers – and umbrellas.

In the next posts, I’ll showcase the performances that made the day the special event it is.

You can view all the photos from the festival here.
