Last Autumn, I met Cleo and Ralph to shoot their engagement photos, so I was thrilled to photograph their wedding as well. This meant coming back from vacation a few days early, but the celebration was worth it. They were blessed with radiant sunshine for their ceremony at the McLane Audubon Center west of Concord, NH.
Unfortunately, not all of Cleo’s family could make the trip. They weren’t left out, though, because the ceremony and reception were live streamed to them in the Philippines. Birds and the breeze in the trees provided the background melody to the short ceremony (well, except the point when a plane flew over as Ralph was getting ready to read his words for Cleo). Most of the guests ended up wearing white which added to the fun summer feel.
For me and many others, the most spectacular part of the reception was Cleo’s son Ben singing the First Dance song. He did an amazing job and that made a special moment for the start of this new family. However, that wasn’t the only surprise performance. After the Mother/Son Dance, Cleo and Ben broke out their moves to Uptown Funk. The guests loved it!
I wish Cleo, Ralph, and Ben much happiness and many blessings in the years to come!
