A Saturday afternoon at the beginning of November found me driving over to the Hartness House Inn in Springfield, Vermont, to photograph Christina and Jim exchanging their wedding vows. They had decided to make it a simple, private ceremony with just the two of them. Christina and Jim traveled to Vermont from their home in West Virginia. One thing I found particularly interesting is that they both work for Health and Human Services and are involved with the fight against ebola.
Since it was just the two of them, we could take some more time with the portraits after the ceremony. I always find that enjoyable because there isn’t quite the time pressure. I could go on taking photos for hours. Of course, the couples want to get done and have dinner and enjoy each others’ company without me around. Christina and Jim are an attractive and friendly couple who posed easily and had some wonderful ideas for photos. It was a pleasure working with them.
I wish them all the best in their life together and their important work.
