So, the weather didn’t fully cooperate this year for the 9th Annual Concord Multicultural Festival, but that didn’t stop everyone from dancing, eating, and having fun. Immigrants from around the world who now live in New Hampshire shared their delicious food, wonderful music, and other interesting aspects of their cultures on this rather cool, damp Saturday afternoon.
I’ll be posting more about individual performances and other scenes from the day, but I wanted to start with a bit of an overview. I really enjoyed watching all the people dancing (dancing in the rain, mostly – which reminds me of another blog I did). The food looked and smelled terrific. Unfortunately, I stayed so busy taking photos, I didn’t get a chance to try any of it.
By the end of the day, I was totally soaked – although I did manage to keep my camera equipment relatively dry. Despite that, I enjoyed the day.
You can view all the photos from the festival here.
